Jessica Rogers

Jessica Rogers writes poetry/prose/essays and conducts experiments with analog photography. By day, she teaches writing and literature at Bronx Community College, CUNY. She received her undergraduate degree from Naropa University, and later completed graduate studies at LIU – Brooklyn, working closely with Lewis Warsh. Current projects include a performance piece entitled The ball, a chapbook of poetic plays, and critical work on a manifesto towards an Occupied Poetics. Works can be read in Summer Stock #8 (Livestock Editions), The Brooklyn Rail, Brooklyn Paramount, Poems from Penny Lane (Farfalla Press, 2003), and the chapbook Hot Water (Cy Gist Press, 2011), among others.
