Olios: Drop-in classes led by professors

OlioFest is an all-day celebration of the Think Olio Collective. With a combination of live and pre-recorded lectures, interviews, concerts, workshops, and call-ins from our community on the ground in NYC, we've curated a day to immerse ourselves in the art of deep listening. No screens, no break-out rooms, just the sounds of Olio in your ears.

OlioFest

OlioFest is an all-day celebration of the Think Olio Collective.

In the spirit of some of the great public access variety shows and telethons of the past, Think Olio will host a 12-hour radio show featuring notable Olios from our archive, new professor voices, updates from our NYC community, and we'll be raising funds for the upcoming year's programming the whole time. Think Radio Show + Telethon + Festival hosted by Chris and David and some special guests.

With a combination of live and pre-recorded lectures, interviews, concerts, workshops, and call-ins from our community on the ground in NYC, we will curate a day to engage in the art of deep listening.

No screens, no break-out rooms, just the sounds of Olio in your ears.

The full line-up will be announced in advance, so you can feel free to come and go throughout, or get together with your pod and make a day of it.

What is Think Olio?

Think Olio is here to put the liberation back into the liberal arts.

Classically, the liberal arts, were the education considered essential for a free person to take an active part in civic life. To counter a humanities that has been institutionalized and dehumanized we infuse critical thinking, openness, playfulness, and compassion into our learning experience.
