Geoff Klock

Geoff Klock has a doctorate from Oxford and is an associate professor at BMCC-CUNY, where he teaches mostly comp, but sometimes film, and old school Brit Lit. 8 years of that. He is the author of three books, two about comic books and one about poetry. His new one will be about Hannibal Lector, the TV one.

He has written 20-ish essays and has done 60-odd presentations at academic and popular venues. He made a mash up of Hamlet quotes on YouTube that got nearly 50,000 views. He spoke about fashion and superheroes at the Met, and capitalism and spies at Webster Hall, and hosted Basic Instinct at the 92Y Tribeca.

He has titanium plates in his wrist and shoulder, and at this point is more machine than man. He was once in a play with Christopher Lloyd, and once won a sexy Halloween costume contest, and was once in a conga line with Rebecca Del Rio. He spent two years as a nightwatchman in lower Manhattan
