Gods That Fail

Amusing Ourselves to Death - Stuart Mcmillen

Neil Postman wrote on a wide range of topics during his lifetime, and was widely considered one of America's great prophets.  In this class Lev Moscow will lead a discussion on Postman's theory of education. We will read and debate some of Postman's most provocative work, and try to understand his central argument about why the school system fails. It is in short: that we need new gods.

Location: Living Room

This Olio will take place in an apartment where everyone can bring their own snacks and drinks to gather together and learn in an intimate setting. Exact address will be shared with those who sign up before the event.
